Designing your invitations is really where the fun is when planning your special day. Mainly because there is NO LIMIT to what you can do, the vision you have , the materials you want to use, or the material you want to print on- like seriously there is NO limit.
What’s the process?
Step 1: Let’s Talk
Via phone, e-mail, skype, oovoo, or in person, we meet up and chat about what your vision is for your event, what exactly you would like to have done, what all your options are and when you need to have your invitations.
Step 3: The Design is Created
Now that we’ve gotten all the “businessy” stuff out of the way the fun is about to begin. I carefully design and create a beautiful and unique invitation just for you! Drafts for your review will be sent to you based on the contract that we both signed.
Step 5: To the Press!
Once you have approved the designs they go to print! (YAY!!!) At this time, final payment is due for all orders before they actually get to the press. If your invitations require assembly, they are put together at this time along with the print.
Step 2: The Contract
After we’ve had our meeting and discussed all the details about your event. I’ll send you a contract to sign that outlines everything that we talked about. Your “in hand date”, colors, theme/vision, and the terms and conditions of us working together. At this time a 50% deposit will be due for all orders.
Step 4: Review
Once you receive your proofs, you review and double, triple check the designs and information for any errors or changes. This is the time to let me know if it’s a “go” or if it’s a “no”. Serein Invites is not responsible for any errors once the designs have been approved so it’s extremely important that you make sure that everything is exactly right. Once you approve the design, you’ll sign it and send it back to me.
Step 6: Your Beautiful Invitations
Once the invitations are printed, assembled, cut down and wrapped together, they are packaged especially for you and sent ready for you to mail. Delivery Dates will be outlined in the contract and a tracking number is provided once your order has shipped.
(all prices are starting points and can go up depending on the materials used, number of ink colors, and types of printing):
- A suite includes up to 30 invitations and envelopes with a return address.
- All additional enclosure cards are available a la carte’ and can be designed to coordinate your invitations.
- Save the date, etc.
- Turn around time is four (4) to six (6) weeks for Letterpress (depending on assembly) and two (2) to three (3) weeks for flat printing (depending on assembly).
